I am a hopeless dreamer, a motivated storyteller, and a creative rebel that has never quite done things in the order the world expects.
Born and raised near St. Louis, Missouri, I have always felt a pull to the creative. But like many artists out there, I eventually fell into the belief that art was not sustainable as a career unless you were born lucky or well-connected. This put my creative outlets on hold multiple times while I first pursued an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.
My professional work has allowed me to connect with nonprofit organizations across the country to leverage the impact they are making in their communities by exploring their stories of progress with a larger audience. I primarily focuses on human service organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for the people they serve.
As an artist and a communications professional, I believe that visual storytelling can be one of the most honest and compelling ways to convey a message. Now, I use my art to comment on societal issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community and other underserved communities.
As a mental health advocate, I understand the need for expanded, accessible care options and work to spread the word on the importance of using creativity and trauma-informed care to adapt and overcome.
Join me as I continue working to make my dreams a reality by putting myself and my art out there even as continuously work to improve my skills and expand my knowledge.
